During Covid-19 pandemic, Government of Telangana has accorded permission for establishment of Liquid Medical Oxygen Plant with 13 Kilo Litre Capacity to avoid lack of medical oxygen for the needy patients. In addition to the Liquid Medical Oxygen plant, to avoid lack of oxygen in the emergency conditions PSA plant with 1000 LPM capacity under PMCARES was established in the premises of the Government General Hospital, Suryapet
